Dermal Filler for Cheeks, Lips and Face

Cheek, lip and facial filler at Willow and Oak starts at $600, with the plan set at consultation.
Filler and neuromodulators are not the same thing
This confusion is common and worth clearing up, because the two are frequently discussed as if interchangeable.
A neuromodulator such as Botox or Xeomin works on muscle activity. Filler does something different — it adds volume to an area. They are different products, used for different purposes, and a provider may discuss one, the other, both, or neither.
If you came in asking for one and leave having discussed the other, that is a consultation doing its job.
How the amount is decided
Filler is planned at consultation, in person, with your provider looking at the actual area. The amount and the placement depend on your face and on what you want — which is why our menu gives a starting price rather than a fixed one.
Ask for your total before anything is administered. You should always know what you are spending before treatment begins.
Our approach
Our whole practice is built on enhancing natural features rather than changing them. That is not a marketing line we apply selectively; it applies most of all to filler, because filler is where the temptation to overdo things is strongest and where the results are most visible when someone does.
In practice it means your provider may suggest less than you were expecting, or suggest approaching something gradually rather than all at once. It also means they may decline. A provider willing to say "I do not think that would look the way you are hoping" is doing you a service, even when it is not what you wanted to hear that day.
What to bring to your consultation
- A clear sense of what bothers you, in your own words. You do not need the correct terminology.
- Your medical history and any medications.
- Any previous filler or aesthetic treatment — what, when, and roughly where.
- Your timeline. If there is an event, say so, because it affects scheduling.
Smooth threads
We also offer smooth threads, from $200. It is a different treatment with a different mechanism, and whether it is relevant to you is a question for your consultation.
Aftercare and timing
Your provider will give you specific aftercare. In general, plan for the possibility of some swelling or tenderness in the short term, and do not schedule filler immediately before an event where you want to look settled.
If there is a date in your calendar, say so at consultation. Working backwards from it is straightforward when someone knows about it in advance and awkward when they do not.
Common questions
How long does filler last?
It varies by product, placement and person. Your provider will discuss what is realistic in your case rather than quoting an average that may not apply to you.
Will it look obvious?
That is about placement, quantity and restraint. It is the main reason we approach this conservatively, and the main reason a provider may suggest less than you asked for.
Can it be reversed?
This depends on the product used. Ask your provider directly — it is a fair and common question, and the answer should be given plainly.
Does it hurt?
Comfort measures are discussed beforehand. Your provider will explain what is used.
Can I have filler and a neuromodulator at the same visit?
Sometimes. It depends on what is planned and on sequencing. Your provider will advise.
How soon before a wedding should I have it?
Not close to it. We have written a fuller timeline for wedding skin prep; the short version is that anything new needs a buffer.
What if I do not like the result?
Ask at consultation what follow-up looks like and who you contact. Knowing the answer in advance is part of choosing a practice.
